Empties big bags into automated dosing systems

Agriflex’s big-bag emptying station is an automated handling point for raw materials that are not supplied in bulk but arrive in sacks or big bags on pallets. Once the FIBC is placed on the supporting frame, the station allows controlled discharge into a hopper and onward conveying, so you can pick and dose the material just like from a silo

The system can be equipped with stretching and vibration features to support complete emptying, along with dust-tight connections to upstream or downstream piping. Integrated weighing or loss-in-weight dosing options let you feed mixers and kneaders with accurate, repeatable quantities of flour, sugar, salt or blends.

By automating big-bag discharge, you reduce forklift movements, manual cutting and lifting, and dust exposure. The station is particularly suited to specialty flours, minor ingredients and materials for which silo storage is not economical but process integration is still required.
